A Visual Introduction to Christine May Interiors

This beautiful bathroom is accessed through what appears to be wardrobe doors in the master bedroom. As the 'wardrobe doors' are opened, the adjustable lights automatically come on. The walls are clad in silver grey slate and the vanity unit with its moulded glass basin is in pink crystal finish.

The master bedroom in this penthouse apartment, is a haven of tranquility. The eglomise mirrors imitate the surface of the river that flows past the building. The walls and wardrobe doors opposite the bed are softly padded and upholstered in faux suede.

Here we created a study for a business woman who writes thrillers in her spare time! The brief was to make the room functional and workman-like without looking corporate or too 'officey'. The client's collection of Hermes boxes inspired the colour scheme.

The blinds in this kitchen shield the room from the south facing sun and create a warm welcoming glow.

The clients' artwork inspired the colour scheme for this room, which is contemporary without being too cutting edge. The combination of the funky chairs with the classic console tables and mirrors creates a very inviting, livable space.

We do a lot of contemporary bedrooms with a classic twist. We find that a lot of clients like a luxury hotel feel to their bedrooms and bathrooms. I hope we've achieved that here.

This is the sitting room in a four storey town house. The colours are soft and muted but I think the turquoise accents are just enough to lift the whole scheme. I find this a very relaxing room – which is what the client asked for.

I hope to write here from time to time and I'd love you to take a look at our website or to become a 'follower' so that you don't miss any of my posts. I'm new to blogging and trying to find my way around the technicalities of this whole blogging machine - please bear with me because I have a lot to say which I hope will be of interest!

In the meantime, I hope the above images will inspire and enthuse and that you will feel the need to respond to what you see in a positive way! I look forward to hearing from you.
